This January and February, we’re proudly raising money for Friends of the Elderly’s grant service, which helps vulnerable older people stay warm and well during the cold winter months.

By adding an ‘Invisible Soup’ to your bill, you’ll help provide essentials like winter clothing, bedding, heating support, boiler repairs, insulation and home improvements for those in need.  8% of pensioners report they couldn’t meet an unexpected expense of £200—your donation can make a real difference. While no physical soup will be served to your table, every donation will go directly to Friends of the Elderly, supporting essential services, one ladle at a time.

Iris, a grant recipient, shared her experience: “It’s a real situation, where you really do have to choose whether to eat or heat your home. I don’t know what I would have done without Friends of the Elderly. There was no one I could turn to for help. I am eternally grateful.”
