This culinary tradition has deep roots in Marylebone. Conran’s involvement here began in the late nineties, when he was approached by the Howard de Walden Estate. Their shared vision for the area saw them bring in Conran, sparking the foodie credentials Marylebone enjoys today. Places like Waitrose, La Fromagerie, The Providores, and The Ginger Pig soon followed. Conran named the restaurant here after the one he founded by the same name on the King’s Road back in the 1950s.
