On 1st June we will come together with Moët & Chandon and L’Artisan Parfumeur to launch our summer rooftop terrace. The terrace will evoke sunny gardens in Provence, inviting guests to take advantage of the suntrap with a cocktail in hand and a curated menu of small seasonal plates to choose from, all inspired by the southern European region.
Guests can take a seat on linen-covered couches, nestled amongst a grove of aromatic lavender, rosemary and olive trees, reminiscent of the rolling vineyards, olive groves and lavender fields of the French Riviera. Limited edition ‘Boules de Provence’, carefully crafted scented balls from L’Artisan Parfumeur, will decorate the space, providing notes of lavender, hay, rosemary, tomato leaf and basil.
To enjoy al fresco, guests can choose from a menu exclusive to the terrace of small seasonal dishes, including: chilled tomato gazpacho; buffalo mozzarella served alongside poached pear and truffle honey, and for something sweet, an elderflower panna cotta decorated with fresh strawberry and the celebrated Moët & Chandon rosé jelly.
For those looking to bring in the summer with a glass in hand, Orrery’s bar team have created a trio of cocktails to complement scents from L’Artisan Parfumeur:
‘Un été en Carmargue’, with Sipsmith gin, Moët & Chandon champagne and bergamot zest, inspired by the scent ‘Chant de Camargue’
‘Narcisse’, made with 16 year Lagavulin whisky, Cointreau, and Moët & Chandon champagne, reflecting the earthy leather and narcissus tones of ‘Mont de Narcisse’;
‘Provence Cooler’, with Belvedere Vodka, Crème de Mure, lavender and Moët & Chandon champagne.
The terrace menu will be available Monday to Sunday 2:30pm until 6:30pm. Orrery’s à la carte menu will also be available on the terrace for the below opening times.
